I'm sorry, I'm going to have to ask for a translation. French was my language of choice in high school and I can't hear myself think over the noise and hissing of the nebulizer... :)

I took French, too, and am just dipping my toe into Spanish at my ripe old age...
Don't feel bad, dCup. I had to ask her that same question lo these many years ago when I first visited her in Costa Rica. Not that I would begin pronouncing her name differently, but would native speakers of Spanish do so?
Nope. She remains Jennifer.
