Now Accepting Suggestions
We've been invited to a Halloween party, so I'll be going to the thrift store today to pick up costume items.
Robin wants to be a gypsy and Julia wants to be an artist.
Alex wasn't supposed to be in town, but will apparently be joining us after all (see any number of previous "Car Trouble" posts). He hasn't been terribly helpful in terms of coming up with costume ideas ("Adam and Eve!" "A plug and an outlet!") but he did mention a pirate last week.
So what do you think - could I pull off "wench"?

something tells me you'd have no problem
You do beerwench rather well at the VPub when Jack's not around, so I would have to agree with pidomon.
Plus, you've got the parrot.
You can absolutely pull of "wench", but I think you might enjoy yourself more if you went as the "plug" equation of the plug&outlet combo. I love screwing with gender roles.
pull "off", that is.
Well, since your parents live (and you have lived) in Greenville, NC, home of the East Carolina University Pirates, I think you really have no choice in the matter.
Alex: Pirate
Jennifer: Pirate's wench
Loren: Pirate's parrot
Yes you COULD - but I agree, a plug sounds funnier :)
You could go dressed as a quilt. j/k..... ;)
Hey, wasn't Robin the cutiest little gypsy as a baby? I just remembered that. You should post side-by-side pictures of that and her new grown-up gypsy costume. :)
Wow, Alex will dress up? I'm so impressed. My husband runs screaming at the mere mention of costumes. I think you should be a pirate too, the female version - sporting a big tattoo and a cutlass in your teeth. Maybe Alex can be YOUR wench.
