About a two on the "Brushes With Greatness" scale

Where a one is "inadvertently being in the same country with" [Joe Biden] and a two is "crossing a highway overpass on which two guys with guns and radios are anticipating [Joe Biden] being driven by on the highway below at some point during the day."

Try not to be too jealous.

This is old news. The Daily Reflector (Greenville's remarkably progressive newspaper, for you who did not know) already had in this morning's edition that Joe Biden would be in Costa Rica today.

I remember when you and a bunch of Friends World College students went to the embassy and protested when George H.W. Bush visited during his presidency. Now, Joe Biden is a person for whom I have high respect, and whom I WOULD travel a bit to see and greet.

:)

Hmmmm....we had brushes of greatness like this. When leaving LV, we saw Obama's motorcade going the other way on the highway four days before the election. On the same highway the day AFTER the election, we saw the soon-to-be-in-mothballs Straight Talk Express going the other way.

i read that Joe was there today and thought of you!
Hopefully he met with our future Costa Rican overlords.
I mean why else go?
