I have a close American friend here going through similar upheaval. Take care, somewhere down the road, things will smooth themselves out.
pido, what was that Neil Sedaka song? Oh yeah, never mind. All you need to know about that is that he got over it, I got over it (sorta) and you'll get over it, because not everything was meant to be, and that's OK.
BSR, great news about your brother. I'm such a crappy, inconsistent reader that I wasn't sure what had happened and was thrilled to hear the news!
