Must be fate
Remember the red car, and the whole taxi issue?
I thought I had left all that behind, but I swear to you, people have been trying to hail me lately.
All I can figure is that people aren't used to see a car with running lights, and they take headlights in daylight as a "looking for a cab?" signal on my part.

Conduct an experiment:
To find out if it's the headlights, try turning them off during daylight hours. Then, if people still try to hail you, you'll know it's something else, maybe something exciting. Or sinister. Or...?
:)
There's no readily apparent way to turn them off. I don't think I want to know that badly.
Going the other way with this, you could pull over, ask where they are going and if they are on your way, give them a ride. It could be a nifty new sideline! :) The not-so-taxi!
