I agree, although perhaps for different reasons

Julia: What are you doing, Mommy?
Me: I'm making a chocolate cake for dessert tonight.
Julia: Chocolate Cake!! Can we help??
Me: No. When I cook I usually like to do it by myself. Some people, like Grandma, let you help when they cook, don't they? I like it when they do that, but when I'm the one cooking I mostly like to do it myself.
Julia: [sighing blissfully] Gwandma is a special person.
