Why I buy those 5-gallon things of water

Julia's bath, before Julia got in it:

This usually only happens on really heavy rainy days, especially at the beginning of the rainy season.

Hey, wanna hear something awesome? We're leaving for our trip on Friday and, although I do have a lot to do between now and then, my only outside obligations are afternoon and evening things.

I don't have to get up early till the day of my flight.

Kinda defeats the purpose of the bath, eh?

Here's to sleeping in!

Looks like a by-product of gifelte-making.

How wonderful -- "don't have to get up early" -- that is music to a mother's ears, if I recall correctly.

I had a water system like this in the past -- kept me "in tune" with the seasons

Have a faboo trip! Will you be posting while you're traveling?

Ugggh. I knew there had to be a downside to life in Costa Rica.

Of course I've seen water like that coming from US taps, just to be fair about it.
