Welcam!

They were due in at 1:30 this afternoon, but missed their connecting flight and were put on one that was supposed to get here at 9:55 pm. They're presumably on that one, but it's delayed too, so now they're due in at 10:37 pm.

The girls cried this morning when I told them they wouldn't be able to go to the airport, but they got over it. And I realized that we probably wouldn't have been able to get four large suitcases, two carry ons, two children and three adults (two standard size and one extra long) into the car, and would have had to have a taxi follow us home. So, silver lining and all that.

I'm having a cup of coffee and will head out in a minute. Hopefully immigration and customs will be simpler, since there won't be any other flights arriving this late, and the airport personnel will want to get everyone processed and shut things down. Maybe.
